These courses are recommended for CNAs, Day Care Employees, In-Home Daycares and others who have a duty to act or are part of a workplace safety team and require proof of certification.
All students must have a current AHA course textbook for their individual use PRIOR to taking any course. You MUST bring your book with you to your class Students are expected to review the textbook prior to the class, and to have immediate access to their own copy afterward as a reference tool

BLS for Healthcare Providers
This course is designed for healthcare professionals, who will use these skills as part of their daily job duties. Life Guards, RN’s, EMT’s, EMT-I, EMT-P, LPN, MA’s and MD’s
The cost of the certification card is included in the course fee.

General Overview This Web-based, self-directed course uses case-based scenarios and interactive lessons to teach students the content of the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course. A convenient alternative for taking the BLS course, the online version allows students to train at their own pace and on their own schedule.
This course is based on the 2010 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and ECC.

Parts 2 and 3 should be completed in one skills practice and testing session. (included in the price of this class, but can only be scheduled AFTER successful completion of on-line written exam)
