What is Blended Learning?
Blended CPR certification classes use both online and in class instruction methods. With a blended CPR class you take our online class, then an instructor will give you a live demonstration, allow you to practice on a CPR manikin and use an AED. Responding to customer demand for effective, convenient, and engaging training alternatives to traditional classroom training, blended training programs are rapidly becoming the preferred method for providing emergency care training and certification
How Blended Training Works:
1.Students logon to a course using an access code. These access codes will be purchased by students an supplied by their instructor.
2.After completing the course and all of its interactivities, students are allowed to proceed to the course’s secure written exam. Students must obtain a minimum score of 80% and will have multiple opportunities to successfully complete the exam.
3.Upon completion of the secure written exam, students are instructed to print out a Course Acknowledgment stating that they have completed the online component of the course and are ready to participate in a skills exam.
4.Students can bring the certificate to an authorized Educational Center or Instructor for an on-site skills examination.
5.After completing the skills exam, students are issued an official course completion card.

In order to receive a nationally recognized ECSI course completion card with ECSI’s online courses, students must complete an on-site skills exam with East-West Safety
Training, inc. or another authorized ECSI Educational Center or Instructor
